Detroit Tigers Stranded in Full Zubaz Glory, After Sweeping BoSox
The Detroit Tigers on a a hot steak, playing hot…and looking hot in their Zubaz gear. The Tigers are just ended an 11 game, road winning streak, and boast an overall record of 13-4 for the month of May. Not only did the Tigers complete their first Fenway sweep in 31 years, they are sitting at the top of the pile in all of baseball. Following the final game in Fenway, the Tigers were set to fly into Cleveland during the night, but according to Bryan Holaday, the plane couldn’t handle the awesomeness of their team colored Zubaz gear. So, the Tigers ended up heading back to their Boston hotel at 3:30 am, and flew out at lunchtime. Drew Smyly took an earlier flight so he could be in good working order for his start.
