Who Are “Other Idiots Up In Detroit”?
Last night on “NBA on TNT,” Charles Barkley commented about Andre Drummond, “He’s a terrific player who’s playing with those other idiots up in Detroit, and they’re not going to win.” Additionally, Barkley mentioned, “They’ve got some idiots on that team. They’ve got some talented players who are not going to ever get it.”
WTFT? (French Toast)
Here are a few ideas I have come up with as to what his meaning is, please choose one of the following and share your side of the story:
A: Charles Barkley always says controversial things and he’s just blowing hot air, and we are left not knowing which of his ends we are listening to.
B: He is speaking of the Detroit administration who can’t get it right despite how many top 10 draft picks they get.
C: He is just ticked at how Detroit treated his former teammate, Maurice Cheeks, by firing him recently. (They played together four seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers from 1984-85 season to 1988-89.).
D: He is talking about how the Pistons new players, Josh Smith and Brandon Jennings, are not team players and have a selfish attitude.
E: He is just compensating for his short-comings.
F: None of the above.
G: All the above.
H: Charles Barkley is just turrible
